This is our major fund-raising event of the year, an occasion members of the church have been working towards throughout the year.  It was opened by the Chairman of Ripponden Parish Council, Mr Andrew Naylor and Mrs Naylor.  Attractions included the popular Rolling Raffle, the preserve stall, craft stalls, tombolas, face painting, chocolate fountain, cakes and savouries, a children’s prize-every-time Christmas tree, gift stall, container plants and an increased cafe area for coffees and lunches.

The total raised was £2000 – this was slightly down on previous years but the footfall was actually higher, which was very encouraging.  In a few days, on Saturday 8 December, we will be holding our annual Winter Market in church from 11 – 3 pm.  There will be a huge variety of Christmas gifts and produce available from local crafters and suppliers.  All proceeds go to the Restoration and Redevelopment Fund.  Do come along!
